Caroline Ward Vine

Caroline has worked at a senior level in both media and education. The former Managing Director of one of the UK’s biggest magazine publishing companies, she has run some of the country’s best-known brands, including What’s on TVTVTimesNowWoman and Woman’s Own. Her route to the board was through consumer marketing, working with brands as diverse as ELLE and New Scientist.

More recently she has worked in education, as Marketing Director for a leading independent school and as Strategy and Development Director for a global education group.  In her latest project for Ward Vine Consulting she negotiated a unique strategic partnership between Hearst Magazines UK and Cambridge School of Visual & Performing Arts.

Caroline is also a prize-winning writer: her work has won and been shortlisted in a range of international competitions. She gained her MA in Creative Writing this year and has a particular passion for writing short stories. Not something most of our clients need, but it does make her a dab hand at copywriting and a fearsome editor.
